UK Seminar Tour – Summer 2023
The annual seminar tour in May/June is the oldest and biggest one in the UK calendar with this year being no exception. This year the seminar team consisted of SSKJN John Ives, SIKJN Martin Ducker, JIKJN Nick Reeve and JIKJN Kris French who, along with Kuk Sa Nim himself, travelled up and down the UK starting off with seminars in Liverpool, Widnes and Huyton.
After that, the team headed up to Scotland in the trusty van for more seminars in Winchburgh (first ever seminar) and Glasgow and then the very successful Scottish Tournament. The long drive from Scotland to London meant a very early start on the Sunday morning to get to Claygate in time for two afternoon seminars. The second week had successful seminars in Kings Lynn, Boston and Framlingham before culminating in a HUGE European Tournament.
Lots of different topics were taught from the wide and expansive WKSA syllabus including balance, practical self defence, advanced jumping principles and grappling. A good time was had by all and it was fantastic to see many smiling faces of all ages in very well turned out events.
